I am here via the article Robert wrote. What struck me about the exchange between you are Robert is that you kept writing and inquiring. I would have been too shamed that I was exposing my imperfections, confusion, vulnerability, and not knowing. As you mentioned, I too am always trying to become the right kind of person.

“Check everything against your own experience.” , is something I long to experience, or should say trust. Even trust is not the right word. On some level I experience “own experience”, from a place I do not even understand, but then the mind takes over with it analysis trying to put it into a frame work and “own experience” gets warped.

Hey Kate...absolutely agree that the way we frame our questions influences our perspective in the moment - and therefore the "answers" selected - along with everything else that is part of that moment's lived experience..whether or not we are conscious of it.

We have both, among many, experienced shifts in perspective associated with exposure to Robert's writing...I think I'm going to like yours as well.

Go well. 🫶🈚️🐛
