What Does Any of That Have to Do With This
On What Remains When Ideas Meet a Body
Things have been learned here.
I am a soul, working out eternity.
There is no self.

I find myself walking today.
Heel, toe.
Air into the lungs, then out.
Arms know what to do.
What does any of that have to do with this?
nothing answers.
Sometimes a companion walks alongside.
An unquestioned feeling—
I am not okay.
This, it seems, might have to do with all that.
